Meet John Weissfisch, the owner of the new Island Wing Company located on Rolling Oaks Blvd. just off West 192 near Sunset Walk. His franchise is the largest Island Wing Company restaurant in the nation. Hear more about Central Florida’s latest Island Wing Company in John’s own words:
We are a local family owned and operated restaurant. Island Wing Company is a franchise so each unit is owned by someone different. We pride our store on the ‘experience.’ This encompasses not only great food and drinks but a culture that attracts customers based on the atmosphere/energy of the store. Our goal is to get involved in every aspect of the local community because we specifically want to cater to the locals, which is not common in a touristy area. Christina was raised in St. Cloud and holds degrees from the University of South Florida and the University of Central Florida. She joined the Chamber in April 2015. As Director of Administration, she manages the Area Council’s events, sub-committee meetings, projects, and board engagements.
