The Osceola Leadership program has been building leaders that build community for more than 30 years and has opened the door to public and civic service for hundreds of individuals across our society. Over the course of 5 months, the class explores key community issues and initiatives through field experiences and hands-on activities. Additionally, the leadership skills curriculum is woven into day programming, providing for personal and professional growth. Upon graduation, participants are encouraged to engage in public betterment, government advisory, and/or civic service opportunities that make a community impact.

The Health Leadership Council convenes healthcare leaders to build strategic solutions around healthcare delivery, access, and equity. Representatives from public health, healthcare systems, community partners, and service providers craft data driven, measurable and sustainable solutions  with a focus on priorities identified in a Community Health Improvement Plan.  These initiatives create opportunities to improve the overall health for all our residents.

We are committed to ensuring we have the resilient workforce our community needs to thrive, not only today, but for future growth.  Our Talent Pipeline Management initiative, based upon the US Chamber Foundation’s leading strategy, mobilizes the business community to close the skills gap by applying lessons learned from supply chain management to education and workforce partnerships. When employers play an expanded leadership role as “end-customers” of a talent supply chain, they are more effective at determining the most critical workforce needs, communicating those needs to trusted partners, and managing and improving performance in key industries such as hospitality, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing.

The Nonprofit Coalition focuses on empowering and increasing the capacity of our nonprofit organizations. Through networking and continuing education, we provide the tools to help strengthen our nonprofit community to better serve and meet the needs in Osceola County.

Osceola County is part of an elite group of 21 coalitions that the Biden Administration is backing to boost the nation’s economic recovery and rebuild American communities.
