Parkways Business Council hosts Link Osceola at Gatorland
It was a wild night at Gatorland on August 8th for the Parkways Business Council. The board held one of their Link Osceola networking events at the park, which celebrates its 70th year this year. At the start of the evening, guests were greeted by a friendly little gator as they made their way into the park, which made for a great photo opp.
Attendees were able to view Gatorland’s Legends of the Swamp show at 4:30 pm before gathering for some networking time. The Legends of the Swamp show is a legend itself, and Link Osceola attendees were thrilled to watch Gatorland’s brave employees demonstrate the prowess of the alligator.
Following some time for networking – with both fellow chamber members and the nearby emus – a raffle was held for some awesome prizes. Attendees who participated in a photo contest throughout the evening received an extra raffle entry. Prizes included themed gift baskets, tickets to Gatorland’s Screamin’ Gator Zipline, $50 iTunes giftcards, and tickets to the Museum of Military History! The evening was a lot of fun, and much thanks goes to the amazing staff at Gatorland, and to sponsors Towers Home Care and Rehabilitation, and Brightway Insurance – The De Jorge Agency.
The Parkways Business Council holds multiple Link Osceola events throughout the year. Previous successful installments of this event series have been held at Bahama Breeze, 4 Rivers Smokehouse, Bonefish Grill, and Moneterey Pointe Apartments.
